Tisbury Pre-school provides a happy and relaxed atmosphere where children can develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically through purposeful play.
We aim to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where learning is fun. We have an ethos of inclusion, valuing the contribution of all and enabling each child to reach their full potential. We value parents as equal partners in their children’s education. Parents are welcome at any time to come and see what we do or to discuss their child’s progress.
We offer two free trial sessions for your child. Come and visit us and see what we get up to!

What activities do we provide?
We provide a well-balanced range of activities inside and outside that meet the developmental needs of all the children. We use ‘in the moment’ planning to extend children’s learning by following their interests and building on what children already know and can do.

Where are we?
We have access to the King George V Field and the play park, as well as wooded walks and the nature-friendly community field. It’s the best space for burning off energy and running around!
Our purpose-built pre-school provides a warm, cosy space for your child. It’s perfectly planned out and works so well for all our activities. We also have access to the rest of the Nadder Centre space. So, no matter the weather, your child will have room to run and play.

Who are we?
Fees and funding
We aim to ensure our fees are affordable and government funding is available. Our pre-school administrator can help you if you have any queries. There’s more information about the funding offered by Wiltshire Council on our ‘For Families’ page.
And, there is NO REGISTRATION FEE at Tisbury Pre-school!
Our lovely staff team
Every member of our experienced, professionally qualified staff team promotes our ethos of enabling each child to develop to their full potential. Our team are supported by a great committee of volunteers, all of who bring their own individual skills and experience to our fabulous pre-school.
Keeping in touch with you
We use Learning Book, an online journal where you can read about your children’s progress with us. Have a look at our ‘For Families’ page for more information.
Getting ready for school
Our main aim is to ensure that your child is ready for the next step in their education. We have close links with St John’s Primary School, which is just around the corner from us! We work closely with them and other local primary schools in the area to make sure your child is ready to begin the next stage of their education. We do our best to make the transition a happy time for them, preparing them for primary school.
